Evangelia A. Athanasiadou

Born in Thessaloniki, Greece

Lives & works in Heraklion, Crete

My work is motivated by the issue of perception. My approaches deal with epistemological, ontological, apparential and semantical levels. How can we ensure an objective access to reality, if it constitutes an independent scope from the human being? What is the role of sensory perception and how far is it from its target in comparison with sensory experience? Since last year, im working with communities in participatory art projects, also i'm working at high school, teaching art. I'm member at many art groups and associations and i have partnership with museums, mental health institutions, organizations and researchers.
